Marie Sanchez advises clients in the life sciences sector (including clients in the pharmaceutical, medical devices, nutraceuticals, cosmetics, food supplements and veterinary drugs sectors) by offering bespoke guidance on regulatory issues, litigation and contractual matters.

She also has an extensive practice in the cannabis sector, advising clients on regulatory and strategic issues related to both the medical cannabis and wellness hemp markets in France and representing them in commercial litigations against competitors. Her clients include companies of all sizes, both French and international.

In addition, she is a member of the Paris and Quebec Bars, and is a member of the Governing Board as well as co-chair of the International Committee of the International Cannabis Bar Association (INCBA).

• Advised and assisted cannabis companies regarding the pilot programme on medical cannabis in France
• Advised and assisted cannabis companies and industrial unions regarding the setting up of the legal framework related to the legalization of medical cannabis in France
• Advised several cannabis companies in relation to their application to a marketing authorization for their products
• Advised hemp companies in relation to the compliance of their products with French and EU regulations
• Represented several cannabis companies in commercial litigations
